Description Of Markings
CLEAR BIRD
A clear bird is one which has no dark feathers.
TICKED BIRD
A ticked bird is one which has one solid mark in its plumage
Coverable by an object 10 mm square in area.
VARIEGATED BIRDS
A variegated bird must be more light than dark.
(HEAVY VARIEGATED
To be more dark than light.
THREE PARTS DARK
To be 75% dark.
SELF BIRD
A self bird must be all dark with no light feathers visible.
Light flue under vent region shall no merit disqualification.
FOUL BIRD
A foul bird is one which has not more than one solid light mark in its
plumage coverable by an object 10 mm in area or three flights side by side to make one mark.
